Story, People, and Vision Behind the Workspace
This coworking hub emerged from the frustration of building digital products in spaces that were either too noisy, too rigid, or disconnected from the realities of modern software work. A group of former founders, engineering leaders, and community builders envisioned a place where infrastructure, comfort, and community all reinforce one another instead of competing for attention. They chose a central address in Lyon so that team members, clients, and partners could reach the building easily by metro, tram, or train, allowing intense collaboration days without complicated logistics.
Much of the interior is designed through the lens of product development. Deep-focus corners echo the quiet of a late-night coding session, while open collaboration areas are set up for whiteboard-heavy planning, architecture reviews, and marketing standups. Lighting, acoustics, and furniture were chosen with long sprints in mind, minimizing fatigue so that teams can iterate on features and strategy without burning out. Walls carry subtle nods to engineering culture, design thinking, and entrepreneurial grit, turning the environment itself into a reminder of why people are building.
The operating team prioritizes long-term relationships over short-term desk occupancy. They regularly check in with members about bandwidth requirements, privacy needs, and event preferences, then adjust layouts, network configurations, or programming accordingly. When a startup outgrows hot desks and needs a semi-private studio, the transition can happen without leaving the building. When an independent consultant wants to host a small masterclass, staff can help with scheduling, setup, and guest reception. The result is a dynamic ecosystem rather than a static office floor.
